Investing in the Future of the Gateway Corridor

The Lansing Gateway Corridor Improvement Authority (LGCIA) was established to oversee the strategic economic development of the Lansing Gateway Corridor. The Lansing Gateway corridor is a commercial corridor in the northern part of Lansing, Michigan, running along N. Grand River Ave. from Waverly Rd. to the Old Town District.

With its proximity to the Capital Region International Airport and state highways, the Lansing Gateway is a key entrance into the City of Lansing. The LGCIA aims to support existing economic activity along the corridor and attract further investment. Since approving their Development and Tax Increment Financing plan in 2024, the board has been strengthening its membership and gearing up for a key effort to improve the corridor.
