The Lansing Gateway Corridor primarily houses industrial/auto-related businesses, including large corporations like the Capitol Region International Airport, Peckham INC., and AIS to several local small businesses, including autobody shops, service, and retail businesses. Surrounding the corridor are various neighborhoods creating a demographically and socioeconomically diverse area.

The Lansing Gateway Corridor Improvement Authority approved their Development and Tax Increment Finance (Development &TIF) Plan in September of 2024. Development and TIF Plan

The Development & TIF Plan outlines development efforts for the CIA, including community engagement, corridor aesthetics and infrastructure improvements, and business support initiatives.
