The City of Lansing has four corridor improvement authorities, better known as CIAs. These include West Saginaw Street, East Michigan Avenue, South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and the Lansing Gateway on North Grand River Avenue.
These authorities were established to facilitate strategic economic development along key commercial corridors.
Strengthen commercial areas through investment, beautification, and redevelopment—attracting businesses and creating vibrant corridors across Lansing.
