Founded in 2002 by Lansing native and former NBA player Desmond Ferguson, Moneyball Sportswear has grown from a local athletic brand into an internationally recognized name in custom sportswear and streetwear. What began as a dream in Ferguson’s mother’s basement has evolved into a global enterprise — one that proudly keeps its roots in Lansing.
In 2025, Moneyball celebrated its 21st anniversary with the grand opening of a new 5,000-square-foot headquarters on Saginaw Highway. The $1 million redevelopment project brings new energy and investment to Lansing’s west side corridor, transforming a once-vacant site into a modern hub for local entrepreneurship and community pride.
From outfitting teams around the world to providing free youth basketball clinics, Moneyball remains deeply committed to giving back to the city that shaped it.
