SEED Academy: Cultivating Lansing’s Next Generation of Real Estate Developers
SEED Academy is a hands-on, cohort-based training program designed to empower emerging real estate developers in Lansing with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to lead impactful development projects. Over the course of five intensive sessions, participants learn the full development process—from site selection and financial modeling to community engagement and project implementation.
Focused on equitable and sustainable development, SEED Academy prioritizes projects in Lansing’s key corridors and underserved areas. Participants receive expert instruction, mentorship, and ongoing technical assistance as they complete a capstone redevelopment proposal for a real site, positioning them for real-world success.
